Accenture to Provide London Metropolitan Police Service with Application Management Services

LONDON; March 14, 2016 – The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) and the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) have selected Accenture (NYSE: ACN) as the Application Management Services provider to MPS. In this role, Accenture will help the MPS increase its use of digital technologies, including mobile and analytics solutions, while also facilitating increased digital interaction between police and citizens. The contract, secured after a competitive tendering process, is for five years, with options for one-year extensions.
